I brought home 8 new chicks first weekend in August. They all have done great. The last couple of weeks ive started to think something was a little off with one of the buff orphingtons.
Last week I noticed she seemed to fall a couple times when jumping out of the chicken coop, not landing on her feet like the others.

At times her body sort of leans to the right - her wing maybe a little lower on that side and her tail feathers will lean to that side. Other times everything looks in place.
Her neck seems a little strange at times too.
She is normal otherwise, running from the others with bread in her mouth today!
Any thoughts?

For me when a chick starts to slow in body growth, but their feathers continue to grow, it indicates parasites. I have maybe 20% of my babies that get mites and their body seems to stop growing, but their feathers become oversized. So i treat for mites and worms, because i can visually see the mites on them. The oversize feathers sometimes cause them to move awkwardly.

So maybe check her face around her eyes and ears for mites of they have stunted her growth.
