How long after my hen is done setting on eggs does she than again have eggs herself? She was broody since early feb. and and hatched her babies on the 1st of march I then purchased some fertile eggs and stuck them under her til I got my incubator just about a week. she has been back with everyone else and not trying to set on eggs for 2 weeks now and I haven't got 1 egg from her.

i am sure it varies, but she could take quite awhile. That was a lot of setting and deprivation, of freedom if nothing else. She may want a little R&R
