Just a Random Funny Rooster Story

So I got my first chickens in April and March this year I love them and my boyfriend teases me about being obsessed with my birds we joke about it a lot. I spend a lot of time in the even with them when they go back to their coop for the night. He decides today he was gonna ride his trike to his high school friends house (they've been best friends since grade school. Anyways he lives about 2 and 1/2 hours south. Roger gives me this call and says I got you something and your going to love it most the time. He can be thoughtful but hes more of a teaser he likes to pick on people and his jokes always make people laugh. So he pulls in the yard and pulls up by the house and here he is with a dog crate bunged corded to my seat and he yells come see what I got you and he drove all the way home with this big beautiful rooster it wasn't 3 minutes I was loving and hugging on him. Ill have to find out the details tomorrow on How old and what kind but hes absolutely gorgeous.

Im not sure if I will have any roosters out of what a I got a couple months ago But hes very sweet and loves to be held so far.

Hes a 1 year old White Phoenix. His name is funky. Yes I can have roosters. I live in a quiet but busy farming community Right in the smack middle of Corn Fields everywhere and cow crap smell everyday but I wouldn't change it for nothing. My boyfriend and I own 30 Acres we farm rye but we grow it all spring summer and fall so when the snow falls my furry deer friends can find food easily plus the amount of feed I buy them all winter our winters can be harsh on the wild animals So we feed them as well. But so far I have 4 dogs,a kitten,hamster,5 ducks,16 chickens and a Rooster. Oh and my females due to have puppies soon.
