Do I need to show my five month old Khaki Campbell ducks where the water is? I filled a 40 gallon stock tank with water and none of them ventured to go inside it. This is their second day in their new home. The first day they just stayed in their covered run and didn’t venture much.

Is the stock tank the only water source? If so, I'd make sure they have other options as well.
It takes a little time for them to realize that their new home with accessories is safe.
There are other water sources available in the form of buckets and several 1 gallon water dishes by the feed stations

It also depends what the ducks had before. I was given two ducks who had been raised with chickens and no swimming water. It took them months before they would swim. Now they are the first ones in the pools and last ones out.
I think the person who had them before kept them in a smaller run with chickens so that makes sense. Today was one of the first days that I saw them become more bold in exploring the run itself and beyond. So that’s good news!

I added 3 new ducks a month ago, and just made sure there were water sources in multiple places and in multiple different kinds of containers. They figured it out pretty fast watching the rest of my ducks.
