Been lurking here for awhile, and finally got the coop built and the chicks in the brooder! This site is great and I have gotten many useful tips and hints from hours spent here reading the posts. I am new to the chicken thing and decided to do it for the satisfaction of both eggs and just watching the chickens be chickens. I also have a 4 and 6 year old and thought it would be a great way to teach them several different life lessons. I will post pix of the new coop soon...nice to meet everyone!!
