@yakitori ... it's funny when I see pics of button quail they always seem to look huge in photos.
Your first pic of the sleepy chick looks like a duck.. hehe.. was it sleeping with it's legs all out behind him? so funny to see!

I have corturnix, I have no idea why they eat poop either! They’re doing it less now, but two days ago they were slurping it up like it was a tasty worm or something, lol.

the sleeping dead pose baby is probably finding the little hut too warm. I find they start to sleep with their heads poking out at around 1 week, that’s usually when I switch them to a larger cardboard box (also when they start getting really dusty )

they’re growing so fast .... but they started out absolutely teensey, hehe. I’d imagine buttons to be even smaller?
