Hi from New Zealand
this will be the first time I have owned chickens so am a complete novice. Have the hen house in situ today, this weeks project is to build the run and get hay and feed, then go get our chickens. Quite excited!!!!!
 
Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I are hoping to visit "middle earth" one of these days. :eek:) It looks so beautiful in the movies and in photos. Congrats on starting your chicken journey. I also would love to know what kind of chickens you get. We have 2 Buff Orpingtons and they are the sweetest. The girls love the kids and have become quite friendly, especially when we are trying to work in the garden. They like to eat the earthworms.
