Hi, I am new to the forum and ducks
I bought 2 Khaki campbells and an Aylesbury a week ago, they were about 2 weeks old when we got them.

Its amazing how quickly they grow! the Ayles is just starting to make Quacky sounds, they have all just started getting some feathers on their tails.

They are living indoors at the moment, should i wait until they get a full coat of feathers before i put them out?

We have built a hut of about 1 sq yard and have set aside an area of about 6-8 sq yards as a run for when we are out and will let them have the run of the garden when ever possible, do these sizes sound ok.
We also intend to get a plastic kids pool for them to swim in.

Any advice gladly recieved.

Congratulations!! Yes they grow super fast!!
They can go outside now, as long as your temperatures are in the 80's they would be fine. In the evenings though you still would want to bring them in or offer a heat lamp to keep the temperature ok until they get more feathered. You don't show where you are, which would help!
Enjoy!!!

I am in the North east of England so the temperatures will probably never reach the 80's

I think they will have to stay in for another week or two

don't know why the reply happened twice ??

I hope we have at least 2 girls, was hoping both the Khaki's would be girls because of their amazing laying ability
