I’ll vote for Lilac just because she’s falling behind in the poll. Go, girl, go! You can do it!

I think my favorite is the barred rock's name.I've got a Bubble and a Hashbrown, courtesy of my kids.![]()
I just love the way their minds work. When my daughter was about that same age, she named her teddy bear. Her grandfather had given it to her the day she was born, but it had never had a name. She calls him Big Pop. She named that bear First Teddy Big Pop One, and it goes by that to this day. She's 13 now.I think my favorite is the barred rock's name.
Black Sunday White - from the mind of a then 4-year-old boy without a blink of hesitation.
Very beautiful girls. The ee looks a bit like my Bernadebt and my younger girl who's name is now Baby girlPictures from today. 9/3/25
Two things to keep in mind, 1) they're a bit standoffish and 2) I'm not a professional photographer.View attachment 4210609View attachment 4210610View attachment 4210614View attachment 4210612View attachment 4210611View attachment 4210615View attachment 4210613
I also have a buff Orpington got her on may 2nd she still hasn’t payed yet but is laying down majority of the day and has a kind of red comb, we think next month, anyways ill definitely take a guess in this! Here's a fun little distraction. My two young pullets - both born May 28th - will PROBABLY start laying sometime in mid-to-late October. At least that's my hope. Everyone who wishes to participate is welcome in this guessing game.
There's 2 different things to guess. 1) choose which one you think will lay their first egg first. 2) separately choose what day each will lay her first egg. It's totally fine if more than one of you seers choose the same day. You might both be right!
This is just for fun and whoever is closest gets nothing more than bragging rights.
The chicklet's names are Lilac, who is a Buff Orpington and Barracuda, who is an Easter Egger. They may be early or late but whose going to guess closest?
Good luck, everyone. Oh, and "before Columbus day" and "after Halloween" are both totally legitimate guesses.
