We finally finished our chicken run over the weekend! My girls and one boy are really enjoying the fresh air and I can stand in the dining room or kitchen window and watch them and I LOVE it!! Yesterday I noticed they slipped back into their coop so I stood at the kitchen window and hollered "Chicky, Chicky, Chicky" and they all came running out of their coop looking for me, it was so cute. If I stand on the outside of the fence they will follow me around the perimeter. I just love how friendly they are! I think today they are going to get a yogurt treat for being such good girls!

It is very much an accomplishment! Their coop and run are temporary, we plan on building a permanent structure over the summer. I gave them their yogurt treat today, boy am I glad I didn't give it to them when they were in the house. Talk about messy!!
