Just candled eggs

Omigosh, I am so excited that you saw babies developing!!!!

Have you looked into the dry incubation method? I'm wondering if 50% humidity is a little too high for days 1-18. It seems like the commonly thing to do now is 35%-40% for days 1-18, and then 65% or so for lockdown.

I think you might be right hun as ive seen this a lot. Ive read the manual and it says fill 2 trays in the brinsea 40 and them fill all 4 trays for the last 3 days. I dont know what my humidity is i just know when you fill 2 trays that apparantly is 50%.. Im going to phone brinsea and order a humidity reader. ive got this far with the eggs i dont want to lose them now.. Thanks hun.xx

If your humidity is too high then you might run into a problem with your chicklets growing to large in the egg and not being able to zip properly.

I had this problem with my first couple of hatches and lost some beautiful chicklets that were perfectly formed but just to large. I dry incubate now and then raise my humidity when I see the first pip

The humidity is about 40 - 50% its a little high but i dont want to mess around with it..ill candle again in 2 days...:)
