I set 5 bantam eggs on the 23rd. I just candled them and all 5 have great veining! I could even see the tiny heartbeat flickering! I'm going to have to show it to my husband when he gets home from work! These are the first white eggs I have ever set. All the others were Marans eggs and way to dark to see anything but a shadow.
It is so neat to see that! I am really amazed that I could see the heartbeat! I am just in awe. It's also great that all 5 are, so far, doing well. It's going to be hard not to candle at least 1 a day just to see the process. Wow this is a whole new world to me!
