Yesterday after the animal sale my mom came out and helped me candle eggs. Because I really wasn't sure what to look for...
Anyway what a disappointment it was...
I had 35 eggs in the incubator (these were from my own chickens).
I thought maybe 5 were unfertile.
I thought I could definately see about 20 little baby chick blobs in there...
Well after she got done showing me what I really am looking for we found........
2 fertile for sure
2 the shells are to dark to tell.
31 duds....
~~~Some of those duds you could tell never did anything, some looked like it might of died off, so I know that some of them were fertile at one time...
Well I hope those 2 or 4 make it....
Have to wait a couple days yet before I can candle the eggs from 'kritter11 Kim' I really hope they have a better success rate than these did...
