We have a black sex-link, she's a pet, and I googled what combo makes a black sex-link, and found what you probably already know, Plymouth Rock hen mixed with either a NHR or a RIR. So that got me wondering, what kind of chicken is she mixed with, she's about 6 weeks now, and very much looks like a Plymouth Rock, with brown baring. She has a bit of a flighty temperament, and is very smart. Any guesses on what kind of chicken her dad was.

Also, her feet are black.

NHR and RIR are very similar looking, so it would be impossible to tell. RIR mixes are more common though, I *think*.

Probably part Production Red or just basically the non-heritage, hatchery quality RIR type bird
