I have a 21 week old chicken that I've hand raised. Did not hatch her..but got her at 4 days old.
Her breed is a mystery. She came from a hen who escaped a fighting ring/breeder. Shoes kind of tiny compared to other hens. But she has begun to squat really well for me. Should I expect eggs soon? Any ideas on her breed? Here she is sitting behind me grooming me..

And yes, she should start laying very soon if she is squatting, and being 21 weeks old. She is very pretty!

Thank you! I just entered her baby pics in the contest.. Shes such a spoiled girl. I haven't even thought about eggs from her. Shes just my best friend to me. I woke up this morning to her doing an egg song. So i searched and searched but realized she just wanted me to let her our.. I started my day late.
