Hi All, Here is a picture of my girls...they were supposedly Black Austalorps.....BUT......I think I got duped.....Could someone tell me what they think they are crossed with. Thanks all, New Mom

they dont look pure to me and i would guess that the mix would have to have something that has silver lacing in it

Black Aussies are pure black with a beetle green sheen.........those are definitely not pure Australorps! The body shape looks wrong too. I'm not sure what they are crossed with, but they do look interesting.

Definitely not australorps. They might be a australorp crossed with something silver laced, perhaps wyandottes?

I emailed the people that I got them from and she said might be second generation crossing....possibly speckled sussex? And yeah I know my Rooty Roo had to get in the way....front man...lol.
