Just curious

No nutrition in canned products. Check the label. I give ours frozen corn as a treat, warmed up in the microwave. It has some vitamins in it. They go crazy for it!

Read the ingredients on canned corn. They loose all the vitamins in the canning process. Frozen products are much better for you (and your chickens) as they are just flash frozen. They have more nutrition than a lot of "fresh" vegetables unless they are really fresh.

There most certainly is nutrition in canned foods. Canned foods are generally not as nitrous as fresh but they do, indeed, contain nutrients. Do read the label. I don't live where I can get farm fresh veggies year round and I :Dcan food for my family. If the food contained no nutrients I think we would probably die (or at least be unhealthy). As it stands, we do not catch cols, the flu or any of the other illness that "go around." I like to think our diet has something to do with that. : )

Frozen is much better than canned.....read the labels and then make your own decision.

"Better" is far different than your original "NO nutrition" claim
There's really not that much difference

Repeating an opinion is also far different from PROVING your statements:

Quote: Therefore, canned vegetables can have the same, if not more nutrients than fresh vegetables and the levels of these nutrients remain the same even after one to two years of storage.

Canned vegetables are also one of the safest products to choose, as they often contain no preservatives and because they are heated before being canned, are free from food related contamination.
