I just dropped of a pair of my duckies at my moms because she has wanted them ever since I’ve had them. I know she will take care of them but I miss them already

Aw well I know this thread isn’t very lively anymore but I feel for you! After my last hatch of ducks I got so so attached and I couldn’t let go . I still miss them but I know they’re at a good place (a wildlife reserve)

I still miss my 2 little hatchery chicks, I only had them for 3 weeks, then decided to give them to friend 2 weeks ago who had lost a few of theirs and I accepted the fact that I really did not have room for them anyway!

We hatched a small batch a few weeks ago. Good thing our friends that were taking them picked them up before we could see personalities. Well, there is one in every hatch that believes the heat cave is a mountain to climb, not a source of life saving heat.
