Good luck with the purification then
I ended up with 14 out of 26. 8 from the same hen were all infertile and I had 1 early quitter and one blood ring. Tomorrow I am picking up 4 dz new eggs to incubate. My little ones better hatch sooooooooooon.
haha thanks ill need it shes a feisty one but these hens and roo's aren't really hand trained either I bought them fairly old bout 4 weeks after they started laying and they aren't all that friendly lol but old English have never been known for their friendliness haha I figure just to be sure ill lock each one of them in the breeding pen with the roo for a day or so to make sure ALL of them are fertile
i know mine better hatch as well got my hatcher all set up humidity is at 67-70 temp 100 and a fan thats correct rite? the closer I get to lock down the more nervous I get LOL
I have to agree. My game hen has attitude too! I have my incubator at 50% during the first 18 days and then go up to 75-80%. I have found that with my climate this works the best. What is weird though to me is that I am having a harder time getting the humidity up this time. I wonder if it is because there is more eggs in the bator?
