Just took a snapshot of the chickens scratching and foraging in the rain in their chicken tractor from the pan/tilt/zoom camera mounted at the peak of my house. I am going to record the the coop for several days to see if any predators may be lurking around checking it out (I won't have time to put the stronger hardware cloth on for another 6 days)

You can see the simple solar lights I've added, and if you look close, you will see a 1-gallon ice cream tub hanging from the ceiling with an avianaquamiser watering nipple attached. The chickens love it!

Also, I was told when I bought these chickens that they were "Golden Buffs" - is this the same as Golden Comets? I thought their glove was a bit big and they were a bit too dark to be golden comets, but then again, I'm pretty new to this. There is also a Jersey Giant in there. I'll try to get some close ups of the birds tomorrow and post it in the identification forums..

WOW! You put a lot of hours thinking this one through! It looks great. You have a ton of flat land...your birds will never have to be sitting on a bare spot will they?! Great job!!

I see that you are going to redo the roosts. You will need to design them so the the top ones don't poop on the ones below them. They really just need to be able to line up next to each other.

I just finished a chicken tractor with wheels on levers but it is too heavy for me to pull. I would like to have a sketch of your design. What cable did you use? Your design is beautiful.
