Just for fun! Guess the breed or mix

Hmmm. Silkie x Ameraucana?

Hmmm, but it doesn't look like it has dark skin. And I thought that was dominant.

No silkie crossbreeds don't always have dark skin. Usually they are lighter or darker grey. Sometimes the grey is so light it looks like white skin until you get them plucked.

He's roughly half silkie, quarter EE, and quarter ameraucana. Father is is a silkie/ameraucana cross. Mother is silkie/EE. Both carried one copy of white from the silkie. All were bearded, mother was only lightly so most likely only had one copy of the gene.

I have no idea what happened to the crest. I couldn't get over how much he looks like a full EE. If the legs weren't feathered he could almost pass for a badly bred ameraucana. Genes just mix oddly sometimes.

And by the way He is a very beautiful boy he has kind eyes!

He doesn't crow yet, doesn't try to mount the hens, and is a scaredy cat. The head rooster ignores him. He's probably going to get to stay as a beta rooster to help watch the hens. Once I actually grab him, he immediately relaxes. The head rooster is the most paranoid guy I've had and takes his job seriously and he started like this.

His brothers are all rather aggressive with the hens and a couple have threatened me. I've been removing them over time as I currently lack freezer space.
