I hatched two batches this month!

Final Count:
3 Rhode Island Red
1 Ameraucana
3 Blue Splash Wheaton Ameraucana
1 Barred Rock
1 Wheaton
1 Orpington/Ameraucana Cross (I think)


This was the second batch. They were all supposed to be Blue Splash Wheaton Ameraucanas....but there were surprises!


We lost a RIR out of this one to crazy leg issues.

So it's not November any more but I have chicks due in 7 hours. I went to check on it a bit ago and the temp was 95.5 on the crappy LG. I raised it a bit and have to go down to make sure it didn't shoot up too high.
I've heard a faint peep or two.

I have a lone month old cockerel that needs friends very badly.
