I've been twiddling my thumbs for the month and just can't wait any more haha. Just for fun, take a guess at these 4 week olds (pullets or cockerels)?! I'll happily update later as well! Thanks!

1. Asian Black
2. Easter Egger - Cookie
3. White Leghorn
4. Easter Egger - Cocoa

I'd say Asian black and white leghorn are both roosters. Can't say for the two ee.

We are the proud owners of 7 pullets and 1 cockerel!

Cookie is our cockerel. He’s been crowing since about 12 weeks and is getting more colorful by the day. Also I’m pretty sure our Asian Black is really a black sex link.

Thanks! That's great only one turned out rooster! I have EE and have been researching colors and how to tell. lol My girls are almost 4 weeks old.

One of mine in question looks similar coloring to your cocoa (the white/black)!

Oh yea it is! Look out for their combs to start turning pink. Cookie’s did dramatically right around 6/7 weeks. Cocoa is only just now pinking up at 15 weeks and her feather pattern is more uniform overall. Boys tend to have chunks of color. Look for a distinct rust color on their upper wing region too, that’s a classic boy sign.

Thank you! I'll keep an eye out on the wings and comb! So far no rusty red and no pink combs. I know almost 4 weeks is too soon though. I can't keep roosters though and only have 4 so I'm hoping all are girls! lol
