Just found a GOPHER family!

Gophers won't hurt your chickens. But are you sure they are gophers? They sound like they might be squirrels.

gophers live beneath the ground, do vast damage to grass and plants and gardens. I have a pocket of gophers eating away at my new fruit trees.
They are remarkably hard to get rid of. My solution is to get a gopher snake or two and have them clear out a few acres of gophers. I plan on boarding a horse or two in the future and I do not want to have to call an owner because his gelding just snapped his leg in a gopher hole. I wouldn't want my wife or kids in similar danger either.
They carry diseases too.

I have a Rodonex Gopher Blaster and blow them up and it works good!!
