Hi, just getting started with my own backyard flock. Ordered a coop from tractor supply, planning on getting it set up out back and reinforced a bit and starting with 6 chicks.

I've been reading the forums for awhile now before joining, so I have a lot of great information but no questions at this point. Just posting to thank everyone and say hello!

I have buff Orpingtons. My daughter plays with them all the time. They are very sweet birds. I even got a cockerel, and he is still easy to handle.
