Hubbo likes the thick Charmin, and I buy the big pack, and it costs $20! A plastic tub of coffee is $9.88. It's all insane. I tell them at the register that when it costs twenty bucks to wipe our ends, it's time for Jesus to come back.

Ok I went to Aldi's and the milk was $2.89.

I got a half gallon of vanilla almond milk for $2.39.String cheese was 3.29. The ground beef I used to pay a bit over $4 and it is now close to $7. I spent almost $75 out of my $100,and I still have so much more to buy.

It is hard to get buy with $100 a week for 3-4 people.Ofcourse some weeks we need to spend more. I think I will be needing to cook more meatless dishes.Maybe trying powdered milk and not buying string cheese!
I think a 6 oz block is around $1.89 and I can cut that up for the kids.

I buy SCOTTS toilet paper.Kids love it when grandma give some, because she buys the super soft stuff, lol.

Wow, $2.89 for a gallon of milk is CHEAP! Here milk is around $3.60/gal. We get fresh, raw Amish milk for $3.75/gal.

Sheesh, we're up to $7/gal for raw milk. It is certified organic though...and sooooo good. At least here in the Dairy State, even when cheese is $4/lb, it's fabulous.

A gallon of 2% milk at Walmart in Ohio was $4.07 last Sunday. I found 2 for $5 at a competing store. As much as I would like to think that it isn't true.... I'm pretty sure that greed has reared it's ugly head.

Last time I went to Aldi, milk was $2 a gallon, eggs were 50 cents a dozen ( I bought 8 dozen as I wasn't getting fresh eggs yet

, whole pineapples were $1, canned beans and veggies were 50 cents, olive oil was $3 ( compared to $7 at Walmart, so I stocked up ) and all kinds of other deals. Unfortunately, when I went back I found none of these deals to be had.

And my Aldi store is well over 15 miles away, in traffic, so I haven't been back since....I wish it were closer though, because I would definately be checking it out more often.

I'm sick of these crazy grocery store prices!!!

our super walmart has great value milk 1.69 a gallon no matter what. because they want to suck you in to buy milk and come out with a hundred dollars of other crap. but if you go to the regular non super walmart 15 miles away its 3.15. a gallon. our dollar general has it 2.15 a gallon.
