My kids our loving the chick mybe alitle to much don't want them to get hurt the chicks I mean they seem to small to hurt the kids

How old are your children? With very young chicks it's much more likely they will get the brunt of the injuries, being squeezed to hard, or dropped. Best rule is that kids must sit on the floor when with chicks. They aren't toys and they break easily (die) from rough treatment. Do tell your kids not to put their face close to a chick or chicken because they are attracted to shiny things (like eyes) and prone to peck at them.
