I just picked up some day old FBCM from the collier chicken ranch in Texas. Just wanted to show off a bit and give some good rep points to the breeder.
Jayme was very nice and was more than happy to discuss where her birds came from, and even how her first attempt to get breeding stock didn't pan out.She showed me some eggs she had incubating and even the shells the chics came out of. Mom and dad were available to view as well. My understanding of genetics isn't great but I think these are F1 of birds from Cottage hill and bev Davis. The chics look great and have nicely feathered legs.
I got a straight run of 3. While the birds are beautiful and would likely make great Marian breeding stock I plan on using these in an OE project.
