We just hatched 10 Showgirls. One of the chicks when it hatched had sway legs. My Brother-Inlaw came over the next day and suggested we take some scotch tape and tape her legs together for a couple of days. He said sometimes it works but most the time not. So we did it. Made sure she had food in front of her all the time and went down numerous times and dipped her beak in the water and she drank. The next day my wife comes home for lunch from work and she couldn't take it anymore so she untaped the legs. She said all she was doing was still flooping around. I come home from work and she is standing up and walking. A little wobbly but standing. Its been two days since then and she is doing great You can't tell anything was wrong with her. My wife said she prayed for the little girl and God must have been listening. My wife was so happy. :)

Everybody needs prayers too, even a lowly lilttle chick. Taping the legs does wonders for babies born with spraddle leg.

I am glad of your happy ending. [IMG]
