Our two chickens have had to get creative while their flock is so small. (Getting more chicks next week!) This morning they saw a wild rabbit across the street and took off after it! It was so funny hearing their feet slap the pavement, red combs glinting in the sun. They chased it about 100' before I could stop laughing long enough to catch up to them! Oh my goodness, I don't know what I'd do without chickens

The chicken on the left is still with us, the RIR was a sweet leader, and we lost her last week. Our other chicken looks like the grey one on left. They're partners in crime

I'm sorry you lost your pretty RIR to a predator, GardenGal. I read about her on another thread soon after I posted here.

Thank you, Scratch 'n' Peck, I really appreciate that. Can't imagine what our two reprobates will think of chicks. There will be plenty of supervision and picture taking
