Brains died this morning while I was out shoveling Nemo.
I had her in a little tupperware container in the brooder. When I got in from shoveling one of the monsters of large fowl chicks (Brains was a banty, along with half the hatch) that hatched early was standing on top of Brains in her container. I think Brains probably died on her own, but that was terrible to see.
Brains screamed all night long, too. I got up every 1-2 hours to comfort her and give her some water.
I wish she had survived fine, but I'm glad she went quickly.
