Just hatched my first geese!

What do I do now.I have raised a ton of chickens.Do I do anything different? These are brown and white chinese geese if that makes a difference.

They are doing great.I have three beauties.

just sit back and watch the antics. we had 3 goslings hatch from our momma goose last year - they were a hoot! we called them the "meeps" for the sounds they made. warning: they are VERY mischievous!

probably not much of a danger right now - but make sure they dont get over heated. lots of water available, get the right feed, a bit of corn, and lots of grass clippings.

we started with a shallow plate of water for them to splash around in, the moved up to the pie pan, a low plastic tub and then a baby pool. the finally graduated to the pond.

you will love them - and let them eat the grass - you'll never mow again! (well.....)
