just hatched

my egg just hatched, chick is alive, chirping, kicking out feet , BUT it has this ball of black/brownish goo comming from what looks its picky area outside it body, anyone know what this is and if this chick is gonna live|???

From what I know that is normal. This IS my first hatch but I have seen videos of chiks and ducklings hatching, and always see that stuff

thanks, i will be keeping an eye on it throughout the day, there are still 7 more to hatch that looked viable out of the 10 we put in the incubator. i sure hope it lives i was so excited when i saw it was alive and chirping until i saw the goo. but it is breathing, chirping, kicking and opening its eyes.......i am praying for the best as this is my first batch with my home made incubator.
