"The tributes" (our 4 6 1/2 week old BSL chicks were moved to a grow out pen next to the big girls run last weekend. We put a roost in there for them to start training them up with it. For the first 2 days they ignored it, they actually would scoot under it to get to the other side of the pen. On the 3rd afternoon I went out and found 2 of them on it. The next evening when I was closing the run door for the big girls there were 3 on it. Last night when I closed the run door for the big girls all 4 of them were huddled on it!!!!! Yay!!!! Now hopefully in several weeks when they get moved to the big coop with the big girls they will do the same thing!
