...My mother, husband and MIL were all going to pitch in and try to buy me a whole new cookware set. Couldn't really afford my dream set, but they were going to try. I've lost 3 pots and pans this year only leaving me 2 of each. I bake for a living, so I spent all my extra $$$ last year on new baking sheets and such. Well, my mother won a bit of money the other night, and though she put some away like I told her too (I worry about her finances at her age) so insisted on going out and buying me my dream set herself, now, so I could have an easier time with Thanksgiving and all those people!

This is it:

It even came with a free gift:

I also had some kohl's cash and a 15% coupon. Turned out to cost no more then everyone planned to spend. We're all thrilled, and I'm going to go ahead and make my mom's favorite sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving as a thank you.

I'm so happy I could just cry!

Nice set. I copied and paisted it in my tool bar and it showed up that way
I have Ultrex Dh bought me severl years ago when we had a little money. I wouldn't trade it for anyother in the world. If they mess us you contact them and replace it for free . Lifetime guarentee.

Oh- I've been wanting something decent for YEARS. Seems like it always gets pushed to the back of the list. And I cook every meal every day

Good for you! Having the right tools makes life so much easier!

When my brother moved out on his own, Mother, DH and I got my bro a lot of kitchen stuff, pots, pans, baking trays, measuring cups and spoons, cutting boards, the whole gamut. As we wrapped them, DH was looking at it and said, "Wow, this stuff is nicer than ours. Let's keep it and give him ours!" We didn't, but it WAS nice. When my sis-in-law moved to FL, she gave us a bunch of kitchen wares, a pressure cooker (Oh, cool! I can cook our old hens now!), a meat grinder (Oh, cool! I can make our own sausage!), a deep fryer (Oh, cool! I can fry young cockerels next year!) and a roasting pan (You can guess what I said

Enjoy your new stuff, it's always fun getting new kitchenware

Thanks to EVERYONE who helped on BYC for that honor. I did give away a dozen of my biscotti to a lucky BYC winner as a thank you for all the help in that contest!

I don't know why the links to don't work to click on them, especially when copy and pasting them work. I also added them as word links but they won't work. Oh well!!!

I made us some pancakes for breakfast. We're going to have cheese omlet sandwiches for lunch! My daughter is 2 1/2 and keeps telling me "mommy can cook niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice now"! LOL
