i just got 13 baby chicks from ideal poultry this afternoon.

i want to know any tips you have. i am raising them in my office
 
The best thing for you to do is go to The Learning Center on top of page. You will get tons of information !!!!

the learning center has a lot of info If there is a questionthat isnt answered there then by all means ask away


quick hints
dont put shavings in with the babies they will eat it instead of food
they get splayed foot on news paper so use paper towels instead
keep them warm... 99 degrees
pick them up often so they get used to humans
dont put a saucer of water down they can drown in a 1/8 inch of water

The brooder should be 80-90 with a place for them to get away from the heat if they wish !! I always keep mine about 80ish I find anything above that the chicks start to pant.
