I tried some plain ole red broilers this year. At 2 days when they arrived, they were the same size as my sex link chicks that came with them. Now at 1 week some of the red broilers are about 2-3 times the size of the sex links. Will be interesting to see them as they progress and see how big they get by 10-12 weeks. Eating a lot right now and not withholding feed at this point. Hatchery told me no need to excpet for the fast cornish which I dont have. Will see.
