Just Inroduced New Hen Question

My neighbor gave me a banyan leghorn and we put her in with our flock of 4 last night (evening). There has been the typical pecking and chasing but I wonder, how long will this go on? The other 4 seem to peck at each other every now and then but seem to go after "the new girl" more. Thanks in advance for your help.

The time for pecking order to be settled varies. An even match can go for a few days. Just watch to see if it goes beyond settling the order and into attack, drawling blood.

Thanks for the feedback. They seem to be gettin along better today, just a few short battles but nothing too serious.
