Hi,
I am Dani and am glad I finally got around to joining this forum. There is so much great information here- thank you!
My family and I are starting a small homestead in Illinois and have 5 salmon faverolles, 9 German Spitzhauben,2 buff Orpingtons and 17 French guinea fowl .
So far so good, but of course, life with free range fowl is always exciting. Eventually, I am sure, I will have experi nice to share, but now I am still such a newbie that I will mostly just ask a million questions.
 


Ask away! That's what this place is for..well, also, to have fun with visiting and getting to know others. Others that will become friends, without ever having met them.

Also, go to the learning center if you need any help..at the top of this page. Have fun!
 
Glad you joined the Backyard chickens flock. You may like to post on the Illinois thread to see if you have any chicken folk for neighbors.
