(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We have had our girls for six years


(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We live in the city so we only keep 3.

(3) What breeds do you have?
We have one RIR, one Orpington, and on Barred Plymouth Rock.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The eggs of course and their personalities!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, camping, baking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are both teachers. We have one wonderful son and German shephard dog.


(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have used BYC quite often since we got our girls. Love the advice.
Decided to join to get more advice and share what we do now that we have some experience.
