Hello, and welcome! Is there a way that you can secure the chicken's so they would be safe against what attacked them? That way you would still be able to keep them.
im not sure how to raccoon/predator proof a coop, and my parents want to give her away in case whatever got my other girl wants to get her again :(

Keeping Your Chicken Coop Safe
  1. Make Your Yard Less Attractive to Raccoons.
  2. Secure the Wire Mesh on Your Coop.
  3. Use a Latch That's Hard to Open.
  4. Surround the Coop Area with Foul Smells.
  5. Install a Coop Apron.
  6. Mount a Predator Deterrent Light on the Coop.

Sorry for your loss.
The coop needs to be predator proofed. You need to secure all openings with 1/2" hardware cloth and use latches to secure the doors that a toddler couldn't open.
But it seems that it's your parents that have to do these things.
