We have 6 chickens. Two buckeyes, a longhorn, americana, Easter egger, and a well summer all from a friend. One buckeye and the Easter egger are only 3 months old. All the others are laying. We had chickens several years ago and are excited to have them again. We live I. The mountains of CO now so learning about having chickens around wildlife and colder weather. We also have a tripod rottie and a cat. This is the coop we built. We are going to call it the Cluckin’ Saloon. Love learning from this site.

Welcome. Cute saloon themed coop. You are in fierce predator country. I would add 1/2 hardware cloth to everything in your run and coop - meaning, everywhere where there is a hole greater than 1/2 inch. Also, make an apron for digging predators. A mink or a weasel can slide right through chain link fencing.
