I just joined Backyard Chickens today. I found the sight while searching for answers to questions about raising quail.

I have raised chickens in my yard before, but don't have any right now. I currently have 2 ducks. Both are drakes. I have a Rouen and a Khaki Campbell. A few weeks ago, I got 3 Bob white quail. Our first chicks hatched yesterday. They are amazingly cute!

Our family also includes 2 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, and a 27 year old turtle. In the summer, we foster animals for the Humane League. Right now we have 4 rowdy kittens.

Wow! A 27 year old turtle??? I didn't know they lived that long. I bet he/she's a beauty! oh, before I forget...
