Hey there fellow chicken enthusiasts. Proud of the great job here and looking forward to being a great wealth of info. To begin with, how do you correct splayed feet in day old chicks?

Welcome to BYC!

First, make sure they are on a non slippery surface in the brooder. Many times this happens in the incubator, but it can happen in the brooder as well.

If you get this corrected early enough, the chick will recover just fine. Good luck with your baby!
