I can't wait till my girls kid. I just love the babies.

I processed my 8 month old wether last month and I can honestly say if you like deer meat you should like goat meat. My next step is to get meat goats and then fiber goats. Its just a matter of which ones; pycazz, pygora, angora or casmere.

She is growing like a weed. and her name is...............

Trouble!!!!!!

LOL

I knew she'd be trouble when she was born and I was right. She's going crazy in there. and her 2 favorite past times are:

1 jumping off the goat table, and

2 butting chickens. she tries to sneak up on em and gives them a butt. it's so funny.

Try telling that to my hubby...We already have a horse(great dane) that takes up a lot of space, lol...Maybe after we get the chicken pen situated this spring, we can discuss it..I wouldn't mind having a female and a wether.

goats take very little room. they are quite comfortable in a 50x50. if you do that you lose out on the pasture, but they are cheap to feed. a fine mix of hey and pellets. Great animals who are useful for both meat and milk.
