Hmm, that sounds a bit tawdry but I was trying to be chicken clever. Whatever.

We are picking up our first babies tomorrow - Australorps, Araucanas, and a few Barred Rocks. We are farm folks (if it eats while you sleep we've probably got it or owned it at some point in time) but have never kept chickens - weird, huh? Very excited to learn a lot from everyone on the BB.
