just let our chickens out to free range for the first time ever.we have about 25-30 orps an they are just so happy.lets hope it goes well i am sure we may lose a few here an there we do live in the country on 40 acres in ct.have killed most of the yotes an foxes never see racoons or possoms iif i do they get shot we have a few hawks around but we have a few huge roos so hopefully that will help.

Dusk is you most dangerous time. That is when I have lost mine. I try to get them in when the sun gets to a certain height unless I am going to be out there with them. I am sure the girls are very happy at the moment. You are about to learn the joys of chicken TV.
