So i got my 5 sebrights 2 days ago...trio of silver and pair of golden. I am keeping them with our rabbits in our rabbity, which is enclosed by chainlink fence...(rabbitry is a u-shaped set-up of lean-tos 8' high). I let them freerange and they seem to be fine with that. they havent tried to fly over the chainlink yet. THey have their coop they can go into with food and water and also they have food and water outside.....but they seem to want to roost outside the coop at night? should i put them in there or just let them be?

If the outdoor area isn't predator proof, I would coop them up at night for sure.

The safest place for any chicken at night is in a predator proof coop.

I free range in the daylight hours, in the summer, and always lock them up at night.
