Just moved to Columbia Missouri

Excited to be in the Columbia area near our family but have had to put our chickens (3 hens and a rooster) in foster care while we search for a permanent home. We are looking for a perfect country setting at a reasonable price. Suggestions are welcome. BTW, I have followed this site for a year and it has been quite helpful. My chickens are thriving and so enjoyable to watch and care for. Cant wait to get settled in to a new place.

try going to the "Where am I, where are you" forum and post on your state thread someone will probably be able to fill you in re: prices and best locations (that allow chickens,) etc.

Good luck finding your home. Columbia allows hens in the city limits (I think 3 but could be 6) but I don't think roosters are.
