Btw the ramp is made from the bottom of my old incubater so i presumed it would be quite suitable, i put a few long nails into the ground and it is secure so mummy dnt break it lol

cheers all btw be as quick as you can day 21 starts at 7 pm lol

Looks pretty good, but there are a couple things. First of all, I put some boards or something along the bottom. Give the fencing a bit more support as well as "critter-proofing". And the small space at the end of the run? First place I'd try to get out if I was a chick. They can get through a 1 inch space! Sneaky lil fuzz butts!

Looks good to me as far as "baby proofing" goes.. I am guessing you mean you dont want your kids to get to them

If you mean you dont want predators in, then no.. It doesnt look safe enough.. They can dig under that wire

Well i cleared the gap up by the door, and put boards up, and about the predaters, we close our chicken away by 8pm, but all day we have our two jack russels running round the garden and lets put it this way the jack russels take care of most things lol, and luckily the jack russels live in peace with the chicken so its all good obviously the dogs aint gonna go in when there chicks about.

we did useto have a rat problem caused from the farm next door, but there all gone now.

can i ask what predaters were u on about like foxes, rats mice, etc?

Probably they are talking about ones native to the area. Not too sure where you are from, but here in Alabama we have possums, coons, foxes, feral dogs and cats, wild cats, coyotes, and hawks to name a few. Some are nocturnal, some diurnal. So we have to be on guard to protect our wee ones!

Ah well im from england, and we only get rats mice and foxes, but we aint got rats or mice, and the foxes come out well after there door has been closed for bed so we should be ok
